How to Play Paperama
In each level of Paperama, your goal is to make the shape indicated by the dotted lines by folding the “paper” a set number of times. Tap the screen on the part of the paper you want to move. Think of this as grasping a real piece of paper between your thumb and forefinger. Keep holding your finger down and drag the paper over where you want it to go. Your screen should look like this image, except with your real hand instead of a cartoon one.
Depending on the situation, you may need to drag the paper from different spots. Dragging from the corners will allow you to make more small changes and is a good way to make diagonal folds. Dragging from the middle of an edge, on the other hand, is better for making a perfectly straight fold. Experiment with different methods.
A good strategy for learning how to play Paperama is to keep an eye on the Score box in the top left corner of the screen. This box will show you how close you are to getting 100% accuracy in the level. Try to get as many percentage points as you can with every fold. If you mess something up, tap the green Undo button in the top right corner. You can use this button as many times as you want on each stage. Eventually, you will develop an instinct for how to play Paperama in every level.
But this wouldn’t be much of a game if you got as many folds as you wanted. That’s not how real origami works, and it’s definitely not how to play Paperama! Look in the bottom left corner of the screen. This Limit number will tell you how many folds you have to work with.
Above this box is a Folds counter. This will let you know how many folds you’ve already used. Remember how many moves you still have at your disposal!
Learning how to play Paperama can be difficult. Luckily, you have plenty of hints at your disposal. Tap the Hint button on the right to bring up the Hints screen.
As you complete more levels, you’ll score more hint points. Each hint point will make one fold in the paper for you. It will overwrite any moves you’ve already made if you’re in the middle of a level.
Now you should have a better understanding of how to play Paperama. Learning how to play Paperama is pretty simple, but mastering it is much difficult.
